Strong boxes, not cheap ones
- Use strong double-walled boxes. About 96 litres is a good size: big enough to be useful, small enough to lift.
- Cheap single-wall boxes crumple, their bottoms fall out and they cannot be stacked, so your things get damaged and take more space to store.
- Stick to a few sizes. Boxes of the same size stack neatly and safely.
- Close every box flat with wide packing tape, top and bottom, so it can be stacked. Ask us about boxes and tape.
- Avoid bin bags and open bags: they tear, spill and trap damp.
